The Upper Crumb is a faith-inspired dessert catering company specializing in handcrafted cake pops, cookies, homemade Oreos, cupcakes, Swiss rolls, dessert tables, and sweet treats for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, corporate events, and special gatherings throughout Tampa Bay. Inspired by vintage charm and modern elegance, we create warm, memorable dessert experiences with thoughtful presentation, handcrafted quality, and personalized service.

Our signature hand-rolled cake pops are made using an original homemade recipe blended with whipped buttercream frosting for a rich, soft texture that’s better than Starbucks with a homemade touch in every bite. Rooted in love, hospitality, and meaningful celebration, we believe life’s most important moments deserve beauty, care, and unforgettable detail.

Our "Hands-Off" Policy

Hands-Off Policy

The Upper Crumb proudly carries business insurance and is fully responsible for your desserts while they are in our direct care during preparation, transportation, delivery, and active setup. If any damage occurs to your purchased products while our team is actively delivering or setting up your order, we will work to reasonably compensate the affected items through replacements or vouchers equal to the damaged product value whenever possible.

Once delivery and/or dessert setup has been completed and our team has finished handling the products, responsibility immediately transfers to the client, venue, or event host. This includes situations where guests, venue staff, weather conditions, children, pets, or accidental contact cause desserts, tables, displays, or products to become damaged, spilled, bumped into, knocked over, mishandled, or destroyed after setup completion.

Even if our team remains present briefly within the venue after setup has concluded, The Upper Crumb is no longer responsible once the desserts are considered “hands off” and no longer actively being handled by our staff. We are also not responsible for allergic reactions, food sensitivities, or improper handling after delivery completion.

For documentation and quality assurance purposes, our team photographs every completed dessert setup before departure to confirm successful delivery, presentation quality, and completed service responsibilities. All sales are final after delivery and/or setup has been completed.

Our Event Policy

Policies & Services

The Upper Crumb proudly provides handcrafted dessert catering, elegant drop-off services, dessert setup options, and dessert cleanup services for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, engagement parties, corporate events, and special gatherings throughout Tampa Bay and surrounding areas.

We recommend placing orders at least one week in advance so we can personally discuss dessert styling, event details, setup preferences, service timing, and whether you would prefer drop-off only, drop-off with setup, or our full-service package including setup and cleanup services. Standard dessert orders generally require 2–4 days for preparation, while large catering orders over 50 items or 6 dozen require additional advance notice to ensure scheduling availability and proper event planning.

Clients may reserve their event date with a 20% deposit, with the remaining balance due on or before the day of the event, or clients may choose to pay in full at the time of booking. Cancellations made within 3 days of the scheduled event will result in the loss of the deposit due to preparation costs, scheduling commitments, and reserved availability.

The Upper Crumb carries business insurance and takes great care in maintaining quality, freshness, presentation, transportation, and professional setup standards for every event we serve. If an issue occurs while our team is actively delivering or setting up your order, we will work to reasonably compensate damaged items whenever possible.
